Two days filled with visits to ABBA-related locations in the Swedish capital
published July 14, 2025
In 2025, I began conducting guided tours of ABBA's Stockholm. Stretching over two days – starting at 9am and going on until about 6pm both days – we visit more than 30 locations. We get exclusive access to some of them as well: primarily the former Metronome Studio, where ABBA made most of their recordings in the first half of their career, and the former Marcus Music Studio, where much of 1977's ABBA – The Album was recorded. We also meet people connected to ABBA, such as guitarist Finn Sjöberg, who played on recordings like Mamma Mia. Truly unmissable and so much fun.
I'm doing these guided tours in collaboration with Tours For Fans, run by Anders Ericson. I already had thoughts about doing something like this, when Anders approached me with his concept. He and his wife Elisabeth, who is also my lovely assistant on the tours, had far grander visions than I, so together we developed a concept that is quite astounding, even if I say so myself. But why take my word for it? "If you can go, go!!! You won’t regret it!!" is just one of the very nice comments from happy tour participants.
The guided tour of ABBA's Stockholm is an unmissable two-day event, covering more than 30 locations.
