Advent Calendar 2023

As we're now only a few days from Christmas, the title of today's Advent Calendar entry couldn't have been more appropriate. Trying to find any information online about Bill Bronson's Overtones, or the accompanying Tommy Ferguson's Trio, is not very easy, however. All I can tell you is that this recording was first issued in the mid-1950s and that it is featured on a compilation CD entitled Headin' For The Christmas Ball, which is where I found it. Oh, and Billboard reviewed it back in the day, describing it as "A bright up-beat number that expresses the joy of the holiday season". Can't argue with that.
