Advent Calendar 2023

Today the Advent Calendar travels back to 1954 and a single by country singer Sonny James, who was last heard in the Calendar two years ago. Christmas In My Hometown is one of those "travelling home" or "longing to be home" themed songs that are so common among Christmas tunes (White Christmas being the prime example). The way Mr James sings it, you can really hear the longing.
