Advent Calendar 2023

This Christmas medley was recorded by American trumpeter Ray Anthony in 1966, but not released until 30 years later, on the first of Capitol's Christmas Cocktails compilations. It's unclear why the first part of the medley is entitled Christmas Trumpets when it is in fact a grooved-up version of Jingle Bells. Theoretically, we could ask Mr Anthony about it because although he was born in 1922, he is still alive - he will be 102 in January. Wow!
