For admirers of Frida's early recordings, a complete collection
of her EMI years was long overdue. In 1997, a double-CD was finally released.

Jean-Marie
Potiez - who made the video Thank You ABBA and later wrote books such as ABBA - The Book and A Tribute To Frida - had
long been pushing for a complete CD release of the pre-ABBA recordings Frida made
for EMI in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In the summer of 1996 I got involved
in the project, and in early 1997 I started working more closely with Sven Åke
Peterson at EMI on putting together a double-CD. I also contributed liner notes
and researched the previously unreleased bonus tracks that were included on the
double-CD.
