with similar packages from other prominent Universal Music artists, the autumn
of 2003 saw ABBA Gold being repackaged as a 2 CD + 1 DVD set.

In
2003, Universal Music decided to release a series of packages featuring some of
their most popular acts. The concept encompassed two greatest hits type CDs plus
one DVD. Naturally, ABBA were one of the selected artists. Their package, entitled
ABBA Gold - Deluxe Sound + Vision, contained the ABBA Gold and More ABBA Gold
CDs plus the ABBA Gold DVD (for track listings and further info about these discs,
use the links to the right).
With this Deluxe release, More ABBA Gold
was reissued, after having been deleted for a number of years. This meant that
the rare track I Am The City, which at the time had only ever been released on More Gold,
was made available again. (I Am The City is now available in the box set The Complete Studio Recordings.)
It appears this Deluxe Sound + Vision edition
of ABBA Gold is now deleted in the UK, but still available in other territories.
